About this event
The Actors' Technique is an advanced level course that introduces students to the influential teachings of renowned acting practitioners such as Constantine Stanislavsky, Lee Strasberg, Steller Adler, Uta Hagan, Sanford Meisner, Michael Chekhov, and others. Through an exploration of various acting techniques, students will discover how these approaches can inform their scene and monologue study, enriching their performances. Each semester, students will be assigned a scene and monologue with which they can apply the concepts and techniques they have learned. Students will also deepen their text analysis by learning script scoring; including dividing a scene into beats and understanding how to apply tactics/verbs to a performance. TexARTS Tuition & Registration Policies: Tuition is due in full prior to the start of programming. . All tuition & fees paid are nonrefundable. Discounts are offered at check-out.
