About this event
The University of Louisiana at Lafayette Piano Institute (ULPI) provides opportunities for pedagogy students to share their passion for teaching, apply best practices, and prepare for their future careers. The Institute also offers a meaningful way for the University to connect with the community by offering quality lessons accessible to all members of our community. ULPI welcomes K-12 and adult students who are interested in learning piano recreationally and gaining comprehensive musicianship skills. WHY STUDY PIANO AT ULPI? *Lessons are offered by instructors rigorously trained in the UL Piano Pedagogy program under faculty supervision. *Students benefit from private & group lessons, as well as solo & ensemble performance opportunities. *Students utilize well-maintained pianos at the university. Recitals each semester will take place in Angelle Hall on the UL campus. *Students enrich their learning experience by participating in various events, competitions, and level exams as their proficiency progresses. HOW DO THE LESSONS WORK? Once your registration is received, we will arrange a brief interview with you to discuss the materials and weekly lesson schedule. For more information, please contact ULPI@louisiana.edu INTERN INSTRUCTOR SESSIONS *Fall 2024 lessons run from August 19 through December 13 and include 15 lessons to be scheduled with instructor once you complete registration. *30 minute sessions - $450 *45 minute sessions - $675 UL FACULTY SESSIONS *Fall 2024 lessons run from August 19-December 13 and include 15 lessons to be scheduled with faculty once you complete registration *30 minute sessions - $600 *45 minute sessions - $900 IMPORTANT NOTE: When completing registration, you will have the option to pay in full or pay in installments set up by the registration system.
