Description
The La Vista Recreation Department and the Sarpy Community YMCA have joined forces to combine our Youth Basketball League!
The emphasis of the La Vista Youth basketball league will be learning new skills, improving current basketball skills, techniques, teamwork, sportsmanship, and fun. We offer youth basketball for Boys and Girls in grades 3rd - 8th.
This is a "recreational" league and players are not allowed to play in this league if they participate on a "select or competitive" team.
Player/Coach requests are not guaranteed.
VOLUNTEER COACHES NEEDED! Please consider volunteering your time to coach a team!
*Practices will tentatively begin the week of January 1 at the La Vista Community Center. Practices are held at coach's discretion 1-2 times per week Monday - Friday evenings with no practices on Wednesdays.
Games will begin on January 18. Games are typically played on Saturdays and/or Sundays at the La Vista Community Center, Sarpy Community YMCA or some other locations in the La Vista/Papillion area.
