This 90-minute course is designed to empower iPhone users with an in-depth understanding and practical knowledge of accessibility features available on iOS devices. Whether you're new to accessibility settings or seeking to optimize your iPhone experience, this session will provide comprehensive guidance and hands-on learning opportunities. Additionally, instructors will demonstrate how to use augmented and alternative communication to text, Facetime, and email. Throughout this engaging class, participants will delve into the diverse array of accessibility features tailored to meet various needs and preferences. Starting with an overview of the accessibility menu, participants will gradually explore and master functionalities such as Vision options, Speech, Display & Text Size, Hearing accommodations, and more. The course emphasizes a practical approach, offering step-by-step instructions and demonstrations for each feature. Participants will have the chance to actively engage with their iPhones, applying the settings in real-time under the guidance of an experienced instructor. Moreover, strategies for customization and personalization will be shared to ensure attendees can tailor their devices to their specific requirements and preferences.
