Come join this magical course to learn what it takes to create your own theme park! We will be following along with Disney theme park creation videos from Disney Imagineering to guide us through creating our parks. Students will be working in groups to create their own business plans for a restaurant, gift shop and one other park business. From the business plans students write, they will then get to show their creative side and make the park. This course will combine business and creativity for the ultimate magical experience! On the last day of class, students will be able to go to one of the Disney theme parks to be able to point out business areas we have talked about in class all week. Students will complete a scavenger hunt in the park focused on the different areas they have written business plans on to see how their theming lines up to Disney World. The park day will bring together everything we have learned in class. We may even have a sweet surprise to end our night in the park! Cap: 24. Instructors: Mrs. Sydow and Ms. Herrera. Cost: $325.
