Come join us for the 43rd Annual Marble Festival Road Race in downtown Jasper! This 5K is flat, fast and features a downhill finish. It is USATF certified and chip timed.
5K awards given for the top overall, masters and grandmasters, as well as top 3 in each age group (10&U, 11-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-59, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75-79, 80+). Team plaques for school, club and family with most participation. Fun Run entrants will receive participation recognition at the finish line.
Event details and schedule
Preregistration Pick-Up will be Friday, 10/4 from 5pm-7pm at Jasper United Methodist Church (outside in the parking lot near the playground).
Race day registration beings at 6:30am on 10/7 at the Church.
5K Race begins at 8:00 a.m.
1-Mile Fun Run begins at 9:00 a.m.
All participants receive a long-sleeved race t-shirt. (Guaranteed if registered by 9/25/2023.)
Race proceeds fund the ministries of the Jasper United Methodist Women/Dorcas Circle whose focus is to be in service to ministries and charitable organizations for women and children within church and the Pickens County community.
Post Race: Stay and enjoy the Georgia Mable Festival, October 5-6, 2024, which celebrates the history of Georgia Marble, the mountains, music, and arts & crafts. The festival parade begins at 10:00 a.m. in downtown Jasper on October 5, 2024.
