About this event
Ever wondered what the inside of a sea animal looks like? Want to watch live plankton under a microscope? Are you ready to jump in with the jellies, sea otters and sharks via Live Cam at Monterey Bay Aquarium? Have you ever tasted seaweed? Do you have a favorite sea animal you really want to know more about? As a Future Marine Biologist you will be using all of your senses as we dive into discovery about Earth’s least explored place - the ocean. Get ready scientists, we will be dissecting sea animals, using microscopes, observing and touching living tidepool animals, and running experiments to understand the ocean and the amazing and mysterious creatures that live there. Bring your brain as we take on ocean acidification, plastic pollution, and other threats to marine organisms. Tuition includes a $10 materials fee.
