So who is Running Man?
The running man is a cartoon caricature, painted by a former Royal Marine illustrator at the Commando Training Centre (CTCRM) back in the 70’s. It is the last push of ‘Five hundred metres to go,’ and it is ‘Only pain’ sign, this is the illustration you see as potential Commando’s and Trained Commando’s complete a physical Commando Task. The running man is either a welcome sight or a needle to add to the pain of commitment, but it also encapsulates the humour required when faced with an arduous task.
