About this event
This class is open to all adults wherever they are in their painting journey. There will be a number of images from which to choose—photos and original paintings, or students may choose to bring an image from home—e.g., a vacation memory, a pet, a house. The medium will be acrylics with assistance in mixing and color density. Emphasis will be on actually SEEING their work. Composition, distance depicted, line and color, are all essential to the final product. Individual assistance will be given throughout the classes, helping each student to make his or her work an individual painting that can be hung at home with pride. Over the four weeks, students will work on different stages of the same painting. The goal is to finish at least one painting.
