Instructor: Brooke Hammond Supply Fee $50 to the instructor Whether you're brand new to oil painting or just want a refresher, this 4-week beginner course is for you! You will be shown the fundamentals of painting while building essential skills that will be a solid foundation for your painting journey! COURSE OBJECTIVES: Students will be introduced to the following concepts: Painting tools and materials. Basics of design. Basics of color and value. Color mixing. Describing 3 dimensional form. Different styles and methods of painting. Painting from life as well as photos. Introduction to different subjects such as still-life, landscape, abstract, narrative and portrait painting.
