Description
The Haslett United Junior Gymnastics program was developed to give elementary and middle school-aged gymnasts an opportunity to compete in gymnastics without the time and monetary commitments of USAG. We strive to keep a light-hearted and recreational attitude at our practices and meets while encouraging strong skill development. We expect gymnasts to come to practice ready to work and have fun! This program will also be used to prepare gymnasts to join the Haslett United High School Gymnastics Team. NO PREVIOUS GYMNASTICS EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! The junior team will practice 6 hours per week and will have the option of competing in 6-7 meets. Competing is not required. The Haslett United Jr. Gymnastics team trains from September through March. Fees for the team are split into two registrations: this fall registration covers the training fees for the first half of the season (Sept.-Dec.), and there will be another registration to cover the second half of the season (Jan-March). Gymnasts are expected to participate in both fall and winter sessions for their team.Does not meet on 10/31, 11/26, 11/28
