Description
Virtual children's safety classes are sessions through Zoom Meeting technology. Classes are led by a live instructor and includes interactive digital media to help learn key messages. Participants will need a device with camera, microphone, as well as high-speed internet connection (laptop, tablet, smart phone).Course Dates: November 10th from 10:00am to 4:30pm
This program helps to empower children when they are dealing with untrustworthy adults, teens and peers with an easy to remember plan to get away and tell a trusted adult. We focus on People Safety (including tricky people, getting help from a safer adult and bullying), Online Safety, Fire Safety, Travel Safety and basic first aid – including practice sessions on calling 911. All participants will receive a digital copy of the My Safe Life manual and upon completion of the course will receive a hard copy of the manual along with their certificate by mail.
