Come and experience the joy and decadence of a Double Chocolate Everything class led by the incredibly talented Pastry Chef Extraordinaire - Carolyn Crow. Indulge in the art of creating irresistible double chocolate truffles, heavenly double chocolate biscotti, and luxurious double chocolate drinking chocolate. Discover the magic of crafting these delectable treats, perfect as heartfelt homemade gifts for your loved ones. Join us on this culinary journey to embrace the rich, velvety world of double chocolate delights!
Carolyn Crow’s sweet tooth led her to a life chasing pastry perfection. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, she continued her studies of baking with Alice Waters and Mary Caneles at Chez Panisse in Berkeley, California, and advanced her chocolate skills at the Valrhona École de Grand Chocolat in France. After years of working as a pastry chef, chocolatier, and event manager for restaurants and boutiques in the DC area, Carolyn now most enjoys baking simple, wholesome treats and breads for her family and customers under the name Black Bunny Bakery.
This is an in-person hands-on class. Participants will work with the chef instructor in our kitchen to prepare the recipes listed in the class description. Everyone will then get to enjoy these recipes together.
For your safety, we ask all students wear close toed, no slip shoes to this class
No refunds will be granted for Let’s Cook@Casey programs. A one-time registration transfer is available to a Let’s Cook@Casey class of equal value if the exchange request is submitted in writing to LetsCook@gaithersburgmd.gov no less than 48 hours before the scheduled program time.
