Six IN-PERSON sessions September 17, 24, October 1, 8, 15, 22 This course will cover aspects of Chinese culture and customs, including some lessons in basic Chinese language, and interesting cultural differences between China and other countries. Integrated into each of the classes after the first session will be lessons on Chinese calligraphy. Participants in this class will be required to purchase Chinese ink and a Chinese calligraphy brush in advance of the second class which the instructor will advise on where and what to purchase during the first class. Alex Zheng is from China, with a strong interest in sharing aspects of Chinese language, culture, and calligraphy with others. His wife Mandy Bartell has lived in China for 18 years and has taught at Brenau and for BULLI in previous years.
