Staff advisor: Zeynep Araci Email: zeynep.araci@basisindependent.com Student Advisor: Allyson Dates: Every Wednesday with the first meeting on 9/11 and the last meeting on 3/26 Time: High School Lunch Grades: 9–12 Cost: $225 Description: We want to be a part of the solution to help feed the less fortunate and educate the BIF community about the pressing needs for hands-on participation. Our club will organize fundraisers to raise money for hosting annual community meal-packing events to help support the most vulnerable populations in our community struggling with food insecurity. Last year, our club held a public packing event. Close to 600 volunteers/students from 39 schools participate in the event, packing over 71,000 meals to help feed local families experiencing food insecurity, Ukraine and middle east crisis refugees. We hope you will join us in this important cause to help fight against hunger.
