Description
The Second Act program, offered through UT Extension of Williamson County, strives to engage older Tennesseans in improving their quality of life, to encourage a positive outlook on the aging process, increase well-being and promote purposeful aging through strategies to promote physical, mental and financial wellness. Join instructor and UT Extension Agent, Kim Cumbo for this four week workshop; week one introduction to positive and mindful aging, week two focuses on eating well as we age, week three focuses on physical activity, and week four focuses on financial planning.This program is FREE but registration is encouraged to reserve your seat as space is limited.
Get to know your instructor: Kim Cumbo is a Family and Consumer Science Agent with the University of Tennessee Extension Office of Williamson County. She has a Masters of Science in Health Education and Behavior. She is also a certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) and certified Personal Trainer and Senior Fitness Specialist.
