Originally a path for migratory animals, the Natchez Trace evolved into an overland route utilized by indigenous cultures, tradespeople, travelers, and bandits. Today, it serves as a scenic parkway providing explorers with one of the most picturesque traveling experiences in the southeastern United States. Come learn more about the significance and value of this historic route through the "Western Frontier" of a fledgling United States.
