Description
Stabilizing - taught by Carole Jean Wright
The Stabilizing class is designed for those interested in hardening soft stone so it can be cut and polished without fracturing. An example of soft stone is turquoise. There will be three methods used during the class.
Students are encouraged to bring a few (3-5) soft half-dollar sized stones to the class which you would like to stabilize. If you do not have stones, one or two may be available. Stabilizing products for the class will be provided.
