Pomeroy Sport Centre 9324 96th St. Fort St John, BC, Canada V1J 4J3 Organized by City of Fort St JohnAbout this event
Description
We're sorry, but this activity is over. The last meeting was Saturday, October 26, 2024.
Important Registration Note: This registration is for 1 pumpkin workspace - only register once if you are planning on sharing a pumpkin to carve as group. Please work in groups whenever possible, as space is limited.Join Catherine Ruddell of Creatively Sustained for the final installment of her "We Grow Rainbows" community led program! In this workshop, participants will have 3 hours to carve locally sourced pumpkins into spooky, fun, or even intricate designs.
As we continue to focus on intergenerational programming, we invite groups of up to 5 people per pumpkin. Due to the sharp carving tools being used, children 9 and under must have an adult or person 16+ responsible supervising them during the workshop.
Each registration is for 1 pumpkin and workspace, each pumpkin workspace will receive a pumpkin to carve, 1 tool kit, 1 LED Halloween light to take home. Also, you will have access to various stencils to choose from (or bring your own from home), additional carving tools to try and explore and some locally sourced sweet treats to share as a group.
We will close the session with a creative gratitude activity.
All supplies and materials are provided for free
This program is brought to you by the talented, Catherine Ruddell, of Creatively Sustained and proudly supported by PlanH and Northern Health IMAGINE Grant.
