Description
Tango Tuesdays with Jeff Steele! At the heart of Argentine Tango is connection - Connection with your partner, with music, and our bodies with the ground. For the past 15 years, I have gathered experience from some of the greatest Tango maestros around the world, and would love to share my experiences and background with you every Tuesday.
Join me for this six-week course, which will provide you with a solid foundation in technique to enjoy the music, the dance, and an evening out with a wonderful community of people. Each class will include elements that build upon each other as well as stand-alone components. Feel free to drop in when you can -- However, the best experience for you and your partner will come from attending all six weeks in series. The focus of this six-week series is truly about connection -- When we can connect, regardless of our skill levels, we can enjoy the music, enjoy each other, and enjoy the night!
- For those with some experience in the Tango world, we will cover La Cruzada, La bocata, and Ochos Adela and Detras. Depending on who attends, we will explore styles of music and embrace.
- I hope to see you each Tuesday from October 29 to December 2. Please reach out with any questions.
- Additionally, I'm looking for two or three volunteers to arrive 15 minutes early to learn the steps ahead of the group. This way, you can feel comfortable helping others during the class and the practical sessions. Please reach out if you're interested!
