About this event
A classroom escape room is a series of obstacles or challenges that students complete as a team in a specific amount of time (typically 45 - 60 minutes long). Escape Room is a great way for students to learn about new content and use their thinking skills to solve puzzles and riddles. During the escape room challenge students will use their academic skills to read passages closely, think critically, answer comprehension questions, and use math skills to decipher challenging and fun puzzles! While working as a team, students will develop their intrapersonal skills such as communication and growth mindset as they journey together on this joint effort. The classroom teacher will be there to guide and support students along the path to solving these fun and challenging tasks. Escape or not - students are bound to have lots of fun in an interactive environment! Additionally, students who are quick problem solvers will have access to google classroom to play an ongoing digital escape room or will be given tools to design their own escape room and challenges.
