Sue Tyler is leading three consecutive workshops on the Art of Drawing. Participants are welcome to register for one session, or all three! Session 2, January 18: Learn to Value Value Value refers to light and shadow, and plays an essential role in a work of art. We practice seeing light, shadow, and midtones to create form, contrast, and atmosphere. Experiments with charcoal, pencil, pastel, and watercolor allow a variety of effects in value. We’ll also explore the use of basic design and negative space to order to create more effective drawings. Students should bring a notebook or sketchbook, enthusiasm, and desire to improve skills. Beginners are welcome! Teton Arts Members: Don't forget to enter your member discount code at checkout for 20% off this class!
