Teton Arts Studio • 110 Rodeo Drive DriggsID  83422 Organized by Teton Arts

About this event

Sue Tyler is leading three consecutive workshops on the Art of Drawing. Participants are welcome to register for one session, or all three! Session 2, January 18: Learn to Value Value Value refers to light and shadow, and plays an essential role in a work of art. We practice seeing light, shadow, and midtones to create form, contrast, and atmosphere. Experiments with charcoal, pencil, pastel, and watercolor allow a variety of effects in value. We’ll also explore the use of basic design and negative space to order to create more effective drawings. Students should bring a notebook or sketchbook, enthusiasm, and desire to improve skills. Beginners are welcome! Teton Arts Members: Don't forget to enter your member discount code at checkout for 20% off this class! If you are not yet a member, you can become a member here: www.tetonarts.org/membership Cancellation Policy: If you need to cancel your registration for any reason, we request two weeks' notice to allow us time to fill the spot from our waitlist.
