COURSE DESCRIPTION
The principal focus of this course is on developing an understanding of choices in daily life. Choices are broken down into two categories, and a nine-step procedure is taught to assist in the decision-making process. The class explores current events in the local and global communities to study social issues concerning our society. Additionally, students examine the causes and signs of violence to help make better choices in their own relationships. Through the study of the Nobel Peace Prize winners, students learn how individuals who strive to make good choices can impact the human race. When
