A little gem of what once was, Larsen Prairie is a gravel hill prairie tucked away on the southeast side of the county, booming with ecological value. Join District Ecologist staff to learn about the management, ecology, and history of Larson Prairie during an indoor presentation at Prairieview Education Center. From there we will drive over to Lake in the Hills, depending on weather conditions, to view and experience the winter prairie first hand.
