At the beginning, Carnevale was a celebration associated with farmers and the word itself meant "Carne Levare" to remove the meat, and essentially begins the season of Lent. Every city in Italy celebrates its own Carnevale with elaborate mask and fancy processions representing various topics. Most famous is the one from Venice which dates back to the Middle Ages, and the one in Viareggio and many more. What To Expect: Great cooking isn't about recipes—it's about techniques. In our classes you'll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
