Explore art movements such as Abstract Expressionism, Realism and Pop Art and interpret these styles through pottery. Learn how to manipulate clay to mimic van Gogh’s brushstrokes or how to use pottery tools to imitate Pointillism. Explore colour theory and painting techniques by decorating the surface of bowls, cups and sculptures. You will be encouraged to develop your individual style while combining paint and clay! Supplies included. All projects made in this class will be fired and glazed.
