Description
This class is for the beginner or experienced watercolorist. Learn about the various techniques and materials of watercolor painting. Each class will feature a brief demonstration by the instructor. Paint-a-longs will be offered for beginners. More advanced students will be encouraged to work on their own projects. The instructor will help each individual artist advance to their optimum goal.
Watercolor materials list
to get started
Set of watercolors assorted colors (koi field sketch about $26, or tubes koi…reeves or other
brands keep it reasonable $10-$20)
Palette to mix paint plastic plate can be used
Set of watercolor brushes (again inexpensive)
Pencil
Kneaded gum eraser
Paper 140 cold press (strathmore pad or spiral 400 series)
Sponge
Rags…towels…
Supplies can be purchased at local art stores or on line
Experienced painters bring what you have for materials
