NO CLASS OCTOBER 29 |$20 LAB FEE DUE AT FIRST CLASSClass Description:
Learn the skills necessary to make a variety of decorative and functional boxes created from book board then covered with book cloth or paper. Variations will include boxes with lids, hinged lids, boxes with slide out trays and clamshell boxes. Embellish the boxes with knobs, beads, buttons, and ribbon. Experienced students can work independently on their box designs with assistance from the instructor.*Note: Box Making for both beginners and experienced students who desire to work on advanced box projects. • Construct boxes for jewelry, small tools, photos, collections, and keepsakes. • Boxes are made of book board and covered with decorative paper and book cloth. • Embellish with ribbons, beads, knobs, and magnetic closures. Materials instructor provides: a variety of decorative papers, book cloth, book board, Bristol card stock, assorted art boards, a couple cutting mats and rulers; painter’s tape; weights; PVA glue and Methylcellulose paste, binder clips.

Lab fee of $20.00 is due at the first week of class. Your fee will cover decorative papers, book board, Canson art boards, Stonehenge Paper, book cloth, PVA glue and paste, ribbon, buttons, magnets, paints.
