Are you looking for feedback on your writing? Writers of all genres are welcome to the Writing Group! If you are looking for fellow writers to evaluate your fiction, non-fiction, or poetry on elements such as organization, plot, setting, character development, point of view, and overall effectiveness, this is the group for you.
Workshop meetings include providing enough copies of your writing for each member of the group, reading your piece out loud, and receiving responses or reactions from the group members.
More detailed participation guidelines are available upon request. Due to the participatory nature of the groups’ work, membership is limited to twelve writers at any one time. This means that there usually is a waiting list.
New members will be welcomed in the order in which they were added to the waitlist. If you are interested in joining the waitlist, please call 909-399-5488 or by visiting in-person to the Joslyn Center.
