Description
Learn basic principles for improving your soil and vegetable garden, and common sense ways to apply them in your backyard. Better soil improves nutrient and water management, which saves time and money. Increase soil organic matter, and decrease compaction and erosion, to help plants thrive. Practical ways to assess your soil, a review of tried-and-true methods, and priority selection will be shared. This presentation is designed for intermediate level gardeners, and beginners with some experience. Presentation by Susan Atkins, Chesterfield Master Gardener.Activity Family
