Description
Bill Scanlon, a docent from the Richmond Railroad Museum will discuss railroading around the country and locally. He will cover some of the basics of trains, railroading's influence on the country and the world, and will speak on both historic and modern railroading.
In addition to this presentation, the County Museum will open a new exhibit, Chesterfield County Railroads: From Mule Power to Steam Power. Discover the history of Chesterfield County's railroads in the 19th century. This temporary exhibit will include displays of railroad artifacts, photographs, and stories from the heyday of Chesterfield railroads.
