About this event
Description
This class is specifically designed for people living with Parkinsons or for seniors who wish to socialize and experience the joy of moving to music. The classes will incorporate components like rhythm and coordination, increase range of motion, core strength, balance, posture and gracefulness, expression and FUN! Care partners and family members are welcome to attend the class if a dancer requires more personalized assistance but are not required. This class is taught by a professional dance and fitness instructor, trained and certified for teaching people with Parkinsons through Dance (for health) Nova Scotia.
