Description
Now’s your chance to learn some ASL! Join in for this series of four, two-hour ASL Signs sessions presented live, virtually by Canadian Hearing Services. These sessions will be delivered by a Deaf instructor with no interpreter present for any of the sessions…so this will be ASL immersion! Content to be presented will cover a basic introduction to ASL, moving into basic signs and phrases. If you’d like to learn specific signs, let us know right away so that we can inform the instructor. For a social element and a fun class, we will hold a space at FHCS where we can project the instructor on a big screen for the class…or if you prefer, we can send the workshop link to you so you can participate from home. Let us know at registration.
