Description
Chesapeake Parks, Recreation and Tourism offers a variety of recreational coed youth sports leagues for ages 9 - 16. Each league focuses on enhancing each player's knowledge of the game and skill level on the field, while providing a positive sports experience emphasizing sportsmanship and fun.
These leagues rely on volunteer coaches. If you are interested in being a head or assistant coach for the youth summer volleyball league, please sign up so you are added to the list of interested coaches. This will help athletic staff prepare for the season.
If you are interested in coaching multiple teams, please only complete one application and select the appropriate age groups
All Head coaches must be 18 years or older, assistant coaches may by 16 years or older with guardian approval if under 18.
All head and assistant coaches are required to complete and pass a background check prior to the start of each season.
By completing this application, this does not guarantee that you will be assigned a team, coaching placement is determined by the needs of the league and previous conduct.
