About this event
In this natural dye mini-series you will explore indigo vat dyeing using shibori resist pattern techniques, eco-printing, and Hapa-zome (flower pounding) to create many sample designs on cotton fabric. An indigo vat and seasonal plants will be provided or brought from your garden and will provide a range of natural colors and shapes for our patterns. During the last two classes we will use our finished dyed and patterned pieces to make a hand-sewn fabric collage pouch.
