Description
Both small and mighty, the Hassayampa River Preserve of Wickenburg contains amazingly varied landscapes which are best experienced on foot. Venture off the beaten path on a nature walk where you'll follow the trickling perennial water through a green forest flush with wildflowers and an arboreal symphony of songbirds. A brief stop at the Nature Center offers the chance to learn more about this natural paradise. Stop for an independent lunch afterward in Wickenburg.
