Description
This class will walk you through the ancient practices and concepts of the Ayruvedic Tradition and seasonal holistic lifestyle. It is one of the oldest systems of medicine in the world and offers guidelines on how to improve your health and well-being through a practical and holistic approach. Part of this ancient practice is to use food and spices as medicine. Brett will provide instruction on some traditional Ayurvedic food, and remedies and also will translate some Western cuisine through the Ayruvedic lens. It is a fun new/ancient way to look at your food and simplify healthy eating.Brett Aldrich has always been interested in healthier living both in work and life. Brett completed her 200 hour certification as a Yoga instructor in 2014 through Sacred Seeds, after she completed her training in Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Trauma Sensitive Yoga. Later Brett became a Ayurvedic Healthcare Counselor from the Kripalu School of Ayurveda, along with Ayurveda of the Mind and Women's Ayurvedic Herbology. She is also a trained and certified Breathwork Practitioner. Brett has always found sharing health and healing recipes and food as a way to bring family and community.
