Description
Get ready to duck, dip, dive, and dodge your way to victory. Whether you are new to the game or want to ease the stress of the day with some friends, our recreational dodgeball league is a great place to be.You will get the most enjoyment from this program if you are new to the sport of dodgeball, are casually interested in the sport of dodgeball, or looking for an easy-going league to develop your skills in. Regardless of competition level, all of our leagues operate with a fun first mentality.
This league operates with five players per team on the court at once during the game. This league is self-refereed, and operates on the honour system. An Intramural Student Leader and scorekeeper will be overseeing. You will be playing one game per week (minus exemption dates - see below), and will have single elimination playoffs during the last three weeks of the season.
Don’t have a full team ready for the season? Select our free agent team upon team designation! Our free agent team is a great way to get to know other players throughout the season!
At the end of this program, registrants will have:
- Participated in a structured sport league program encompassing weekly scheduled games, officials and scorekeeper involvement, and much more.
- Created new connections and friendships while increasing their sense of belonging to the larger MRU community including students, staff and community.
- Played in a fun, inclusive environment that accommodates teams and individual players of all skill levels and/or previous sport involvement.

To ensure your best experience we recommend you attend this program with:
- Active clothing and footwear in alignment with our guidelines.
- Current MRU Student
- Current MRU Employee (Staff or Faculty)
- A holder of an active MRU Recreation Membership (Annual, Continuous, Monthly) for the duration of the program
