About this event
Chemical engineers apply chemistry to solve problems in our lives from blowing bigger chewing gum bubbles to creating fuel that blasts spacecrafts further, to making saltwater drinkable. In this module, we will learn about different properties of chemicals, like density, acidity, and surface tension. This will teach us the science behind lava lamps, slime, tie-dye, and much more. We will also design soap powered boats and crystalized creations. Lastly, no chemical engineering club would be complete without a vinegar/ baking soda explosion!
