About this event
Dates: Nov 7, 14, 21, Dec 5 (Skip Nov 28) Instructor: Caitlyn McLaughlin In the Sewing 101 course students will learn the essential skills of sewing: how to use a sewing machine, basic pattern reading and sewing construction while creating a simple project, such as a fully lined tote or a simple A line tank top or dress. -- Our classes are designed to focus on a learned skill rather than a final product. At TAC, our mission is to provide skills and knowledge for a lifetime! All materials for sample making and learning the technique are included. Any additional materials will need to be supplied by the student based on their vision. 4 Week students have access to Open Studio time for free during the class and for up to a week after the class to put their new knowledge to practice.
