10 wks Experience Level: All Levels This class will give a foundation of color theory through painting and printmaking practices. We will be using acrylics, watercolor, and mono-printing. Students will learn various techniques to handle each medium while understanding the complexities of color. How do our eyes perceive color and why is it important in our art? What are the psychological and compositional elements at play when we interact with color through any piece of art? Together we will investigate what can be an intimidating part of art-making. This class is open to all levels, no experience is required.
