Description
Are you always at the rink watching your son, daughter, significant other or friend play hockey? Do you wish that you had a league of your own to learn how to play the game yourself? Come join the Breck Betties Hockey League! The Betties League is Breckenridge’s Women’s Hockey League and is open to players of all ability levels.
Players must be 18 or older and all levels of players are welcome to join. Full gear is required. This is a non-checking league, and slap shots are NOT allowed. Advanced players are expected to support the newer players and play at an appropriate level for the league (pass the puck, not dominate play, and encourage beginners).
The Betties Leagues first week of play includes a 1-hour coached skate followed by a 1-hour drop-in skate session on September 22nd for welcome back skate and draft assessment.
The regular season starts on (9/29/24) and consists of 9 games. Playoffs are held on 12/8/24 at 3:45p/5:00p. 1 vs 4 and 2 vs 3. The championship/Consolation games will be held on 12/15/24 at 3:45p/5:00p.
Cost is $180 for 12 weeks of skating sessions.
The Session begins on September 22nd.The Regular season begins on September 29th
No Games December 1st due to Thanksgiving
