Printmaking: Screen PrintingInstructor: Melissa DettloffLearn the basics of screen printing throughaccessible processes that can be easily replicatedat home. In this course, students will explore colorand image using paper stencils, foraged plants,and the drawing fluid/screen filler methods forscreen printing. Students will create a series ofsingle and multi-color prints on paper while learningthe potential of screen printing as a meansof artistic expression for creating editions,monoprints, and artist books. Guided by theirown interests, ideas, and images, students willinvestigate the printing process, exploring differentmethods to bring their vision to life on paper.
