Painting: Automatic Art Making/ Let Your Spirit Guide You
Instructor: Sheri Lee Robinson
Automatic Painting or Automatism is a fascinating art making process that allows your subconscious mind to create art without restriction or judgment. It involves spontaneous and unplanned actions that are often without conscious control or thought. In this exciting class, we will explore the history of Automatic Painting and get our hands dirty with several types of Automatism modalities: Painting, drawing, automatic writing and collage will all be put to use as we explore this truly liberating practice. Join me for this intuitive journey into your creative subconscious. See you in the studio! All levels welcome. No artmaking experience needed.
