Painting: Abstract Level 2 & Up
Instructor: Kim Fay
This course is for students who are interested in learning to paint in a different, abstract way. Students will explore a variety of painting media, materials and techniques to build expression in their work with an emphasis on concept, composition, color and personal style. Each student will receive individual attention with a focus toward building a body of abstract work. If you are new to this class, bring 1 or 2 samples of your current work or concepts of the direction you want to head.
Media: oil, acrylic, watercolor, pastel and/ or mixed media.
Prerequisite: Level 1 & 2 drawing & painting experience.

Materials List
Please bring the painting materials you are used to working with. We can
discuss any new materials in class. If you use oil paint, only Turpenoid or
Gamsol is allowed as thinner (no turpentine, odorless turpentine, etc.)
