Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Riveted Bangles
Instructor: Janice Degen
Learn to make a series of riveted bangles as you are introduced to basic metalworking skills. You will learn metal forming, creating patterns with hammers, wire riveting, and several different finishing techniques. The bangles will be completed in class so you can wear them home! Brass and copper will be provided. Students must wear closed-toed shoes, long pants, a mask, and have long hair tied-back.

$85 Members, $125 Guests, $50 Materials/Studio Fee
Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover supplies, and the use of
tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
- Please bring a small notebook and pencil to class
- Wear close-toed shoes and long pants
- Bring your own safety goggles, or you can share the studio goggles
- Bring a mask to wear
