Jewelry & Metalsmithing: Casting & Moldmaking
Instructor: Robin Servo
Students are introduced to the lost-wax casting process including instruction of all steps necessary to complete a final, (jewelry scale) casting. Both centrifugal and vacuum casting processes as well as various wax-working and mold-making techniques will be demonstrated in this class. Most materials are provided for this class except silver products which are not included in the material/studio fees.
Prerequisite: The completion of a beginning jewelry/metals class including torch soldering.

$326 Members, $366 Guests, $70 Materials/Studio Fee
Metals/Jewelry Department Students
All Jewelry/Metals students pay a fee to cover supplies, and the use of tools/studio equipment during the class periods.
Wearing a mask in the BBAC metals studio is encouraged.
Materials list of items to bring:-Please bring a small notebook and pencil to class -Wear close-toed shoes and long pants-Bring your own safety goggles, or you can share the studio goggles
