Get Moving Journey "Energy Conservation" J Preferred Partner Boone County Conservation District (603 N. Appleton Road Belvidere, IL 61008) $15/Girl Scout Sat, January 25, 2025 10 a.m.–12 p.m. Register by January 11, 2025 This program fulfills requirements for the Energize and Investigate Awards portions of the Get Moving Journey. Using games and activities learn: What is Energy Conservation and why it is important? What is climate change and how is it different from weather? Learn about different types of lightbulbs and energy conservation at home. Girl Scouts and leaders will also sign Energy Pledges to take home. We will also go on an Outdoor Conservation Scavenger Hunt, so please dress for the weather!
