Instructor: Audrey Flegel Thursdays 6:45 - 7:45 11 Classes: Sept 19, 26, Oct 3 10, 17, 24 (no class Oct 31), Nov 7, 14, (no class Nov 21 or 28), Dec 5, 12, 19 Students will work on commercial audition material for both in person and self tape audition scenarios . This class covers a wide range of commercial styles and gives students real time feedback. Students will have the opportunity to work on camera and review recordings in class to learn what is most effective for the commercial genre. Students will also receive training in the technical skills necessary for success in home self-tapes. This is a fun, supportive space to get more comfortable and confident auditioning for commercials! About Audrey: Audrey Flegel has been a working actor for 20+ years appearing in stage, TV, film, voice over, and over 30 commercials. Holding a B.F.A in theatre and as a proud member of SAG/AFTRA, Audrey has taught acting and improv with The Second City (Chicago and Los Angeles) and The Youth Academy of Dramatic Arts (Los Angeles) among others, as well as private coaching. Recent commercials include: Lowe’s, Avocados from Mexico, Best Buy, Direct TV, TikTok, Nature’s Own, Carmax.
